Catedral Basilica de Mazatlan
The minor basilica cathedral of Mazatlán, dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, is the main religious building in the city of Mazatlán, state of Sinaloa, Mexico, of baroque style, and seat of the diocese of Mazatlán. It is located in the historic center. Although its architectural design is eclectic, its interior and exterior are a successful combination of neo-Moorish and neo-Gothic, very similar to the original Gothic that was used in the cathedrals of Bordeaux, Toledo, Siguenza and the Moorish of the Cordoba mosque.

Angela Peralta Theater (Teatro Angela Peralta)
Rebuilt twice and inaugurated three times, the Ángela Peralta Theater in Mazatlan is today a magnificent hall that, in addition to its beautiful architecture, has the most modern advances to present shows. a magnificent nineteenth-century relic with a neoclassical façade and baroque interior, but under the direction of the architect Juan León Loya, it was possible not only to faithfully restore the original factory but also to build a modern theater within that shell with all the advantages of acoustics, isoptics, lighting and electronic control of theater technology.

Plaza Machado
Plaza Machado features French and Spanish-influenced architecture, and is one of the most attractive plazas in Mazatlan, as well as the main site of social activity in the historic center. Visit here to admire the old buildings, visit the elegant cafes and see the performances of the region's musicians. The plaza, built in 1837 with money donated by wealthy Filipino merchant Juan Nepomuceno Machado, used to be a popular meeting place in the city. Today, the surrounding buildings have been restored to their original splendor. Check out the attractive colonial architecture, characterized by arches, Parisian-style balconies, and pastel colors.

The Monument to the Continuity of Life is a magnificent bronze work by the artist Pedro Jiménez Corona in which a couple can be seen standing on a snail, and in front of them a band of dolphins jumping in the water of a fountain. It symbolizes the beginning, the end and the balance of life, in addition to that respect that you must have towards nature. It can be admired in the Paseo Olas Altas.

Monumento al Pescador
The Monument to the Fisherman of the City of Mazatlan is located on Avenida del Mar. This is one of the most representative monuments of the city and is also known as "Los Monos Bichis", naked human figures in perfect harmony with marine elements such as a sailfish and a dolphin, as well as the silhouette of a reclining woman, all under a lighthouse.
