    A day of light-heartedness and joy. Raimondo, the guide, always present, highly prepared, patient and available, did not spare himself to ensure that each of us was at ease. Excellent spoken Italian. Lovely places, fresh and well cooked food. Highly recommended

    Samuel was our contact throughout our trip to Kenya, he didn't just organize this tour. From Italy he created our itinerary (3 days safari, blue safari, Mida creek + malindi Marafa in addition) including transport and all meals during the safari. He was always helpful and considerate towards us (during the tours he called to see if everything was okay 🥹). Good humor and laughter are guaranteed! Made our holiday special ♥️ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

    Our day started by getting picked up by Sam. We liked his energy right away, but once we got close to the beach, we were handed off to a different guide who didn't communicate anything with us about the itinerary, and we were left standing around for an hour or more waiting for a boat and another group that was joining. In total, there were about 30+ people on the boat. It was too many. The captain was competent, and I was satisfied how he handled things when we got to the dolphins. Other boat captains were chasing and harassing them, and one even drove right through the center of the pod. Still no communication from our guide. The "tour" of the mangroves was just driving the boat up Midi Creek. No discussion about the ecosystem or anything. Snorkeling was a joke. There was no reef and no fish, no direction about where the reef was located in relation to the boats. Most people were just jumping off the boat to swim. The lunch was fine, but again the communication was poor. They put out the side dishes way before the grilled fish and lobster came out and didn't advise that the main course was in progress, leading several people to fill up on side dishes before the meat was served. All of the guides spoke Italian and seemed to cater to that group.

    It starts to get to the Marine Park for snorkeling where you will be able to see all the variety of colorful fish. Watamu Marine National Park, established in 1968, is home to coral gardens and over 600 species of fish and other sea creatures which makes it a wonderful place for snorkelling. For those who did not want to get into the water you can, however, observe the fish from the boat through the bottom of the glass.

    Mida Creek

    After snorkel you will embark and cruise to the discovery of Mida Creek, a protected area by the Government of Kenya, natural reserve thanks to its eco-system unique in its kind. Mida Creek, East Africa's largest mangrove creek is one of the most productive mangrove ecosystems on earth. At the end of our tour we go on the WakaWaka Island for lunch seafood: lobster, shrimp, fish, etc. Mida Creek adventure will give you the possibility to discover a new "glimpse" of Africa and its inhabitants on the coast.
