I just watched an excellent performance of Minoan culture. My suggestion is that if you are in Herakleion you have to go and see the performance is really helpful to understand and to meet the Minoan and Greek culture!!

The performance at the Minoan Theater was great, and the manager who greeted us was very professional, engaged, and friendly. She met all the guests and explained everything thoroughly. Unfortunately, I regret paying extra for the food option: I didn't like it and it wasn't to my taste. It would have been better for me not to include it.

An absolute must in Agia Galini: the Minoan Theatre During our holiday in Agia Galini we visited the Minoan Theatre – and what a special experience that was! You can enjoy delicious, authentic Greek food in a unique setting, while being taken into the world of ancient Greek dance and culture. The Mood is warm and welcoming, and the performance was impressive and entertaining at the same time. For us this was really one of the highlights of the holiday. Definitely recommended for those looking for something special and typically Greek!

A unique and informative experience. Starting with the kerasma - don’t go thinking it’s a meal - but the 5 legume salad is out of this world - delicious! Plenty of iced tea with herbs and water to drink, all served in a traditional setting. Then the show itself…a brief (30 min) glimpse into the Minoan people/civilisation. Everything is professional and slick Well worth a trip
