My two adult daughters, & I were so excited for this tour, however we found it to a bit disorganized, which led to us being disappointed at the end of the day - Sigh! Please note, although we weren't happy with the tour that the tour guide was really good; & he could only do so much! The tour starts early in the morning, & includes both buffet style breakfast, & lunch... This part was fine. Once you arrive to the destination you're given the option to hike, or take a motorcycle; or horse up the mountain. We opted for the motorcycle, however what the tour fails to disclose is that there's a hike to the motorcycle point - Omg! After enduring the hike, the motorcycle takes you to a point of the mountain (not the top) in about 10 minutes. Keep in mind you will not be taken to the top, & for those of you whom are older, not in the best conditioning form, or not hikers (like myself) getting to the top will be super challenging! I chose not to hike to the top, & was fine with the view from the motorcycle drop off. Unfortunately getting down from the mountain was so confusing.. Some motorcycles didn't return to take travelers down, a few bikes broke down, & the entire process was a mess!! Lastly to top it off our guide wasn't there to help us navigate this mess of a process; & the bike riders didn't speak English.. Again, what a mess!! One of my daughters had to walk 1/2 down the mountain before another rider picked her up. By the time she reached us, she was crying uncontrollably.. Overall the tour was just ok. It would be a lot better if there was more than one guide to help travelers navigate the process. By the way, our guide had to leave us to hike the mountain with those who decided to actually hike... This is why the remaining travelers were left on our own - Sigh!

For a tour that didn't really have any reviews I was nervous but I promise there is no reason to be! Everything was planned out and coordinated perfectly. Both the guide and driver made sure to take care of everyone. As noted this motorcycle expedition is actually optional for the motorcycle. I would recommend spending the 70 soles (in cash) for a ride up. That altitude really is something and even walking the tiny bit from the motorcycle drop-off to the tippy top was 500 feet or less of elevation gain I still had to take 2 breaks. This also gives you significantly more time enjoying the sites. The horses can't get as close as the motorcycles FYI. In any case this trip was wonderful and I fully recommend it!

Very good. They are very punctual, helpful, Jorge, who always answered me via WhatsApp, is very helpful, attentive and polite. The tour was wonderful. I rented a motorbike when I got there, meaning I didn't make any effort.

Everything was well organized, from the pick-up and the lunches, the guides were very attentive, with the option of motorcycles we literally conquered the mountain in 10 minutes, then we just had to enjoy the view, thanks for everything MC Peru Expeditions, it was super!! !

We pick you up at your hotel or Airbnb; if tourist vehicle access is restricted in some areas, we may ask you to walk a few minutes to a nearby meeting point for the van. Don’t worry about the entrance tickets—just bring the suggested amount of (S/30 in cash per person and S/90 for Motorcycle untill the top)

START Our adventure begins with the pickup in your hotel in Cusco (4:00 Am). Then we Continue in our tourist transportation for 3.30 hours until the Hiking and Motorcycle point.

EXPERIENCE From here we are in the Peruvian Andean landscapes until arrive to the Rainbow Mountain. Here is waiting our local motorcycle driver man, who though private special road will take us to the top of the mountain in 8 minutes, Skipping the 2.3 km step hiking path and reaching the Mountain with very easy. Now it’s time to enjoy the Rainbow Mountain with all the energy and take the best photos. Satisfied with all the experience we take again our Motorcycle to get back to our transport, although if you want to involve more you can walk the way back down path which is very easy and relaxing. Our tour its designed for everyone, even if you are hiker or non-hiker, teenager or adult or advanced age person reach the rainbow mountain without effort, without hiking. NOTE: Motorcycle cost it’s not included in tour price.
