The tour guide was amazing with all the history and knowledge. I really enjoy the small setting of the tour - 6 people.

The majestic view of the mountains, the lakes, the blue skies, and being able to reach Mt Evans. My group and our guide Christina that was so well versed in the history of the mountains, knew every place we asked for, the stories of the native-Americans and Colorado, the patience she had with us because she wanted us to go to other places. She drove safely and knew the weather and at what time to leave before the storms. I highly recommend this tour before they close the access to Mt Evans, you will come renewed appreciating nature and it’s value.

I was amazed by the beautiful scenery. And we saw wildlife at several locations. Learned much about the high elevation tundra.

I brought two tickets and my friend woke up sick and had to go to urgent care and wasn’t able to make it and these tours are expensive. I have booked at least 5 tours with this company and could not get a refund. But I went on the tour without my friend because I didn’t want to lose all my money and we came from Florida. I tried to enjoy the trip but it was hard thinking I left him home sick and lost $160 bucks. Not a great way to do business. I understand rules but there are times for exceptions

This was an excellent excursion. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in all ways. I learned a tremendous amount in just a few hours about Colorado, the mountains, wildlife, etc. It was a beautiful June day and Colorado and the views were breathtaking.

Meeting 8:00 am at Denver’s Union rail station, the full day trip to Red Rocks and Echo Lake took about 5 hours. It is a 2,700 m high paved road to the summit. The walk around the frozen lake was not strenuous or slippery on gravel. If you’re lucky there are mountain goats to be seen. The view of Squaw Pass may be lovely, but it’s named after a derogatory gendered term that is reminiscent of the Indigenous women and girls; in Nov 29-Dec 1, 1864, Governor John Evans instigated the military massacre of their peaceful encampment at Sand Creek, CO. Buffalo hunters returned to the scene of slaughter, and later, became the hunted. (Hence, the movement to change the name from Mount Evans.) The generations of Native American children who survived Colonel Chivington’s army were sent to Carlisle Indian boarding school or Catholic St Francis. The van tour included a stop at the little town of Evergreen before old gold mine trails. It costs $90 and I recommend travelling to the historic park in spring.

This was an amazing tour. The group was on the small side so everyone was able to get to know one another. Our guide, Will was very knowledgeable about Colorado and provided great insights about the state. It was a great experience and I'd recommend to anyone wanting to see the mountain side. Will was also very friendly and prepared for the trip. The ginger chews he had for my partner's nausea was great. Be prepared for the elevation folks!
