Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto I-70 W from your location in the Rocky Mountains. Continue on I-70 W for about 20 miles until you reach Exit 252 for Evergreen Parkway (CO-74). Take the exit and turn left onto CO-74 S. Follow this road for approximately 7 miles until you reach a fork; bear right onto Mount Blue Sky Rd. Continue on Mount Blue Sky Rd for about 2 miles until you reach the parking area. Note that the road can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transportation, begin by taking a bus from your location to Denver. From Denver, you can catch the RTD bus route 70 towards Evergreen. Disembark at the Evergreen stop. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to Mount Blue Sky Rd, which is approximately 5 miles away from the bus stop. Be sure to check RTD schedules in advance for the most accurate timings and potential costs.

• Hiking

  Once you arrive at the parking area on Mount Blue Sky Rd, you will need to complete a short hike of approximately 0.25 miles to reach the summit. The trail is moderately steep, and it's recommended to wear appropriate hiking shoes for your safety. Keep an eye out for trail markers to guide you to the top. Ensure you have water and snacks for this hike, as there are no facilities along the way.
