We will end the tour at the Muttrah Fort car park. You can choose to go and visit it at the end, if you so wish. The entrance fee is 3 OMR.

What to expect
Mutrah Fish Market
We will walk to the fish market. I will give you some background regarding the building and an account of the fish trade throughout Oman's history.
30 minutes
As we look over to the anchored ships, I will explain how important Oman's maritime history was. We will then walk along the corniche. There, I will share some historical facts about the old houses and the corniche. We will stop opposite the blue mosque for an account of Islam in Oman.

I will share the details of the gold, frankincense and spice trades. We will head to the back of the souq for some more interesting historical facts.

We will finally head to the Muttrah Fort and talk about key events in Oman's history.
