Nasca Lines

You will be picked up from your hotel located in the city of Nazca and taken to the airport where you will board a light aircraft for a memorable aerial excursion over the world famous Nazca Lines. This flyover of the Nazca Lines will cover a vast expanse of the Nazca Desert, whose surface is marked by gigantic drawings and geometric figures. The flight over the enigmatic and famous Nasca lines lasts approximately 30 minutes and is the best way to see these geometric figures. Here, you will be able to see the different figures drawn on the surface scratching and removing the eroded stones of the Nazca desert. These figures represent anthropomorphic beings, animals and stylized plants, distributed in a huge and particular labyrinth of lines, trapezoids, triangles and spirals that They have been wonderfully preserved for almost 2000 years and that an ancient Peruvian culture or civilization has left behind.

Cantalloc Aqueduct

We will continue with the second part of our tour, starting with the Cantalloc Aqueducts, which are an underground irrigation system built during the time of the Nazcas (300 years AD). approx.). You will witness the great ingenuity of the ancient inhabitants, who in their fight for survival built underground canals, which are still used today. Here we will talk about ancient hydraulic engineering, irrigation issues and the Nazca Culture. In the surroundings of the area you can also enjoy a natural setting covered with cotton, corn, potato plantations, etc. (the fruits are seen, depending on the season).
