    This tour was very convenient as our hotel was within the hotel pick up radius. The driver was friendly and we made lots of inquiries about life in Munich. There didn’t appear to be a script with information about the area or palace or castle we were taken to see, but we enjoyed it anyway. Warning the castle has lots or spiral steps once inside. Recommend the 8 euro horse carriage ride up the hill and 4 euro return trip.

    This was basically a taxi service with ticket to Schloss Neuschwanstein included, not a tour. Tommy the driver was not fluent in English, so after he picked us up he played a YouTube video of an interview with a historian who spoke for about 10-15 minutes about the castle. Then when we arrived at the castle, he gave us our ticket and told us to meet him back at the car at 2pm. After that, we drove to the small town of Oberammergau and he let us walk around for 30 minutes without any explanation of the town. He then drove us to Linderhof Palace and let us walk around the gardens for 1 hour. This time he again played a brief YouTube video, which discussed the top 10 castles in Germany, generally, without much detail on Linderhof. I appreciate that he was making some attempt to provide tour information, and he was a very nice guy, but I would recommend sending a tour guide along with Tommy in the future who could provide a real tour. I did appreciate that his driving was good, and that we were able to spend adequate time looking at all 3 sites promised in the tour with ample time for lunch.

    My friends and I joined a two-day tour to Neuschwanstein Castle and Königssee. The daily itineraries were well planned and very reasonable. Although the tour guide was Chinese, her English was excellent, and communication was completely smooth. Most importantly, she didn’t just explain the attractions—she also shared a lot about German culture and local customs. Having such a beautiful destination paired with a professional and engaging guide made the trip truly exciting and memorable. If I have the chance in the future, I will definitely sign up again. Thank you to the entire team for all your hard work!

    Guide did not have a clue how to direct a tour, caused too many delays due to inexperience, we never got into the castle! Guide barely spoke English and did not have a grasp of the English language at all! He was inept and not prepared at all. We got a 20% refund, REALLY!!! The bus was full, and I know without a doubt everyone on the bus was furious! Shame on Viator for not checking into his background and capabilities.
