    We were picked up by our bus driver Duncan who gave us a very informative tour of Longreach. At the station we were given a very comical and excellent story of Nogo by Jeremy and his side kick Banjo followed by an open top bus tour of the property and saddlebag lunch. What a great experience and a must do in Longreach.

    We really enjoyed the whole experience. It was good to be picked up from the hotel by coach, taken to the Nogo station, and taken back at the end of the morning. The commentary by the driver was informative and entertaining. The trip on the bus was great. We saw lots of wildlife. The lunch was enjoyable. It was great to see the dog bring a flock of sheep into the shearing shed. Listening to Jeremy telling stories about life on a shearing station was interesting and very entertaining. It was well worth the money

    Experiencing a sheep station was eye opening. We learnt about the intricate skill and knowledge required in sheep grading, shearing, the importance of all the rolls in the shearing shed. Riding in the open air bus across the paddocks was great. Saw, goats, pigs, birds, kangaroos, emus, camels, donkeys - a relative menagerie! Was a great day out - exhilarating. Won't be able to look at wool the same again without due respect for those behind it - all of them!

    Out of the three activities we did in Longreach, this was by far the best. Jeremy was a great presenter of the history of shearing, some of the historical tensions and making it accessible to young and old alike. The kids loved seeing the animals and particularly liked the open top bus ride around the paddocks. The beginning of the trip with a quick recent history of Longreach was also good, and both hosts refrained from mysogynistic jokes that seemed to be par for the course elsewhere in town.
