At La Cambe German War Cemetery, you’ll gain a poignant perspective on the events of D-Day. Resting place for more than 21,000 German soldiers, the site is set in peaceful surroundings and invites reflection on the immense human cost of war.

You will continue your journey to Pointe du Hoc, this area stands as one of the most dramatic and significant D-Day landmarks. Perched on high cliffs between Utah and Omaha Beaches, this site was a heavily fortified German position. On June 6, 1944, U.S. Army Rangers bravely scaled the cliffs under enemy fire to neutralize the artillery. Visitors today can explore bomb craters, bunkers, and the memorial dedicated to the Rangers’ extraordinary courage. Duration: 1 hour Admission Ticket Free

Afterwards, head to Omaha Beach and pass through 8 kms of the coast of facing the English Channel. Ashore, you will find a sculpture called Les Braves ‘The Braves’ in honor of the soldiers who fought the war. There will be an opportunity to stop for a quick lunch near Omaha Beach.
