We invite you to our Aurora Camp, where our professional guides will host you for the evening. Above our center, located 30 minutes away from Tromsø and the city lights, the night sky is dark and well suited for northern lights watching. While you wait for the lights to appear, your guide will give you some insight into the natural phenomenon Aurora Borealis. You can also cuddle with our 300 huskies and their puppies and learn about the dog sled racing, breeding and animal welfare on a guided tour of our kennel. Our thermal suits and boots will keep you warm in the arctic winter night! In our cozy Gamme-hut dinner will be served around an open fire. Try Bacalao, a traditional Norwegian fish dish with Portuguese roots made from regional produce (vegetarian option is available upon preliminary request) and a piece of our signature chocolate cake. While you eat, your guide will keep a close eye on the sky and inform you about any Aurora activity! After dinner there is time to watch the northern lights, take pictures and say goodbye to the dogs, before we head back to Tromsø. This tour does not include dog sledding.
