    You'll see other reviews explaining that they booked this tour but it was cancelled at the last minute. I booked this tour, and a few days before the scheduled date I sent an email asking for confirmation that it would take place. I received a response confirming that it would. I accordingly planned that day to include the tour. However, on the day the tour was scheduled, just as I was heading to the starting point, I received a message stating: "We regret to inform you that today's tour in Poznań has been canceled. Unfortunately, our guide got sick, and we were unable to find a replacement on such short notice. Our sincere apologies." This is utterly unprofessional. A professional operation anticipates this kind of problem and has a back-up in place. A professional operation does not leave high and dry persons who have traveled far, have a limited time in Poznan, and planned their day around such a tour. It is unprofessional and entirely unacceptable. Bottom line: understand that this tour operator considers the operation of this tour to be entirely optional. Book and include this tour in your itinerary at your own risk.

    I went on the tour on my first day in Poznan as I wanted to get my bearings a little. Susan was very knowledgeable the pace was right on a hot day and she tried to keep us in the shadows, while passing on the history of Poznan and it's people. I would recommend anyone to take this or other Walkative tours. A great way to spend an hour or so.

    Excellent introduction to Poznan history, culture and people. Margret was funny, animated and really knowledgable and my friend & I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the old city.

    Rubbish. Having had an amazing experience in Krakow, we booked this tour. And we're reminded the day before to meet at 10.45 am etc. We arrived and no guide. We waited 10 mins and called the office and emailed ( by reply) to the previous day's reminder email. Answerphone only, and eventually an email reply saying the guide had a car issue and would be (effectively) 40 mins late - this when already 25 mins late - by which time we had given up. But - they had my telephone number and email address and no Comms. We would have happily waited if we had been updated ... But way too late. Very disappointed.

    As with all Walkative tours, informative and worth every effort and costs. Costs are up to you, on this occasion, I had no change and had to part with a large bill but I did so gladly, as it was well worth it
