This fateful explosion gave an official start to the bloodiest war that can remember the history of the country among drug cartels. The bombing, which destroyed windows four blocks away and left three dead and 10 wounded, was the preamble of an all-out war between the most powerful drug trafficking organizations: the Medellin and Cali cartels.
