    Had a great trip with Angelo as a guide. He was supernice, and made sure everyone got the help they needed. The water is so still in the morning, seeing the sunrise out there was incredible.

    Nice tour with a friendly guide, Angelo! We visited Isla Pájaros and a couple of cenotes. Coffee and fruit drinks included.

    Adrian and Angel took us on a tour of the lagoon. Watched a great sunrise and the guys gave us some great information about the lagoon and the history. Fully enjoyed it as a solo traveller. Fully recommend!!

    Rise at dawn to take a ride on the Bacalar lagoon to see the sunrise and the treasures this place has to offer. We were followed by Angelo our Guide who taught us how to use the SUP board and followed us during our tour. Great Experience, Recommendation.

    What to expect

    We will be waiting for you at the main door of our marina at Casa China Bacalar. You will receive the necessary information and equipment to start your 3-hour paddle board or kayak activity. Before starting we will do a stretching and warm-up, we will also give you a 10-minute induction about the use of the equipment and safety measures. Your tour begins at Cenote Esmeralda, the largest of all cenotes. The mirror effect of the water will make you feel like you are rowing on clouds. (Photo Opportunity: Capture an amazing photo when the water is completely flat and creates a mirror effect.) You will paddle through a charming channel to the first swimming point where you will go down to cool off while you receive the first ray of sun painting the sky with warm and bright colors. This is definitely the highlight of the activity that you will remember forever. You will continue towards the bird sanctuary where, depending on the season, you will be able to observe different endemic and migratory species while enjoying a delicious floating picnic with the symphony of birds in the background. Without a doubt, a 'must' during your visit to Bacalar!
