    Super cool experience. Adriana and Alex are great. Our tour guide, Adriana, is awesome and very charismatic. She is flexible. I came alone but was able to made friends and had a great time. Really recommended.

    The description of this tour is misleading. It involves a lot of walking, stairs, hopping on and off the bus (literally) and riding in public transportation instead of the chiva bus. It would’ve been nice to know that we’d be doing those things ahead of time. The stops at the tourist areas outside of Comuna 13 are limited to 20min and you have to wait 4 hours for lunch so eating before is essential. Lunch is supposed to be authentic to Medellin but is missing key ingredients and the restaurant chosen isn’t good. I also booked the tour in English. The guide, John, decided to do the tour in Spanish because there were more Spanish speaking people than English speaking. But I later found out that everyone spoke English. He catered to the Spanish speaking guests, making jokes and carrying on conversations but kept it short and sweet with the English speaking guests. He also gave basic information that could’ve been looked up online and rarely had answers to questions about Medellin that he should’ve known as a tour guide.
