etwas zu lange und zu detaillierte Beschreibungen...in Fraz. und Englisch durch Ein und den Selben Tourguide..dadurch ewige Beschallung im kraechzenden Kopfhoerer !!

Il y a de très beaux monuments et beaucoup d histoire à Palerme. C est bien domage que la ville soit si mal entretenue. C est surtout la saleté et les odeurs dans le vieux Palerme. Des dejections de chiens/chats partout. Les 2 seule rues propres sont Merqueda et Vittorio Emmanuelle. Les 2 artères principales où on y amène les touristes des bateaux croisières...tpoutes les rues adjacentes sont dans un un état pire qu en Afrique. La nouvelle ville est plus propre. Vaut mieux louer dans la nouvelle ville, avenue Libertad, et aller se balader le jour dans le centre historico. Sinon, il y aussi, Mondelo, Céfalu, Monreale à voir à 30 mins de Palerme en train ou bus. Des belles balades à faire pour la journée !⁹

La ville de Palerme possède de très beaux et nombreux monuments. La visite de Monreale est incontournable et sublime.(attention toutefois aux horaires de bus en particulier le "hop hop"). Gros points noirs : la circulation est infernale, les voitures se garent n'importe où n'importe comment et surtout la ville est une poubelle à ciel ouvert. Dommage car l'ambiance est très sympa dans les quartiers piétons.

Booked at the Grand Palladium excellent resort review to follow . Through Jet 2 rep on sight . "Meet at main gate 745" we were told turned up 825 . This meant a whole catalogue of comments .
Firstly could have had 15 mins more in bed
Secondly as breakfast is open from 7 we could have avoided the cold continental choice we had to have as an early breakfast.
Thirdly As we were late into Palermo by almost an hour now the traffic was then a lot worse .
Fourthly. This the forced our guide to rush the city catacombs tour also the city walking tour to________
Fifthly Then take us for late by the way to our street food tasting experience. Which quite frankly was a selection of cold over cooked fried mush . We were then told to move along as a party that was also arriving and were allowed to sit down needed our space , standing space i hasten to add !! .Commentary over inadequate communication devices meant with a party of 75 !!!. Important information like return times meeting places were missed and had to be asked by customers waiting in a queue to speak to an apathetic guide who appeared to just wanted to go home . Which bring me to my final point our return time bearing in mind we ended up "losing " an hour and a quarter of our tour today was almost to the minute as scheduled. Do not book this through Jet 2 at the hotel use other outside suppliers . This we understand is organised by a German company for Jet 2 i rang them no reply emailed them no reply . Perhaps that need looking into as well . Palermo is worth the visit but pick your provider and avoid Jet 2 as the supplier. Feel strongly as 120 euros should provide you with an prompt enjoyable stress free day out . Have done probably now in excess of 50 guided tours and this was without doubt the worst
