What to expect
Walking visit of Skanderbeg Square, a unique pyramid shaped design, with stone plaques and a vegetation perimeter, all collected from every corner of Albania symbolizing people’s unity. From here our guide will describe to you the history of this monumental square, and all the historical buildings that surround it, Albanian National Museum of History, Opera house, Central Bank, Et’hem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, Tirana Municipality and other government buildings.
Visit Et'hem Bey Mosque (renovated in 2021), one of the oldest mosques in Albania, and the oldest in Tirana. Inside, you will be able to enjoy the preserved architecture and beautiful wall paintings. This mosque allows women. Women must dress clothes with sleeves.

We’ll start our walking visit with Hotel Dajti, Fine Arts Gallery, and Rinia Park. After which cross Lana River’s bridge, (Photo stops) and we arrive at the ‘Pyramid’. Next will follow with Prime Minister’s Building (the ex-Communist Party headquarters), and in front of it is the Parliamentary Offices. Beyond Rruga Ismail Qemali is the Hotel Rogner Europapark, and a little further down Palace of Congresses built for Party congresses during the communist regime in Albania. In front of it is the Presidential Building. This building was the Soviet embassy until 1961. At the end of the boulevard is “Mother Teresa” Square, named to honor of Saint Teresa, with Albanian origin. Around this square are the Archaeological Museum, the Art Academy. and Polytechnic University.
Visiting the national museum of Tirana, guests will be able to learn about Albania's history from its ancient roots to today's modern life. Visit inside the museum about 2 hours (not par of this tour)
Blloku
Visit to Ex-Block, (Blloku) where the communist elite used to reside. Now full of bars, restaurants and high-end shopping stores. Passing through we’ll see the American President’s Woodrow Wilson statute, Albania’s Ex-Dictator house Enver Hoxha, House of Leafs (Spy Museum) and finish with a short visit inside the Christian Orthodox Cathedral of Tirana.
Orthodox Autocephalous Church of Albania
Visit the largest Orthodox cathedral in Albania. Modern multipurpose center as well. Beautifully decorated with wall paintings of saints and biblical events.
A very special opportunity to enter the dark side of spy world during toughest dictation system in Europe, that lasted for 45 years in Albania. (visit inside takes about 45 - 60 minutes, not included in this tour)
BunkArt museum is built inside a real bunker, built to protect the Albanian communist elite from anticipated invasion from the western countries. Inside you'll see many rooms set up to show different times of Albania, starting from the second World War until the fall of communism in 1991. A large space is dedicated to communism prison camps and techniques used to keep people under its rule. (Our guide will accompany you inside BunkArt)
