ONLY IN ITALIAN, NO ENGLISH! During the first Tranche: We will visit together, at a leisurely pace (relaxation first of all!) the most important districts of Prague, such as the Old Town "Stare Mesto" (from its main squares, to the Astronomical Clock, passing through medieval courts, churches and galleries). We will pass through the New Town "Nove Mesto", with the contemporary works of David Cerny (see the "Metamorphosis" inspired by Kafka and "Saint Wenceslas with the horse upside down"), a Franciscan garden frozen in time and some Art passages Nouveau. Slowly, we will get to touch the sad themes of the Holocaust and the Communist Soviet Regime (Prague Spring and Velvet Revolution). We will end the first part of the morning, with the exterior of the "Josefov" Jewish quarter, where I will show many curious features of Jewish culture (obviously, the exterior of the main Synagogues and the Jewish Cemetery) - 09:30/12:30 We will make a stop in an old typical restaurant (if you want...) where you can freely order some local specialties and, why not... drink an excellent Czech beer - 12.30pm/2.00pm During the second Tranche: to follow, once we get on board the Tram, which will transport us to the highest point of the city, we will enter the Prague Castle, seat of Kings, Emperors and today, of the Presidency of the Republic The Cathedral of San Vito (first part free) will transport us back in time, to the golden and saddest centuries, such as the Thirty Years War. We will descend the hill, passing through small non-touristy alleys, which were inhabited by alchemists and astronomers, up to the Little Quarter "Mala Strana", place of the Knights of Malta. We will end our trip with the John Lennon Wall, the Child of Prague and the medieval Charles Bridge - approx 2.00pm/5.00pm. ATTENTION: during the periods of Christmas (from 01 December to 08 January approximately) and the Christian Easter, access will not be made inside the Castle, as the waiting time for the security checks would take time away from the Grand Tour , therefore other interesting places will be included in the upper part of the city. For access during this period, only by organizing a Prague Castle Tour (not on Sunday mornings and/or during Christian holidays, due to the forced closure of the Cathedral). Duration about 6 hours with n. 2 Tranches and a free lunch break (no admission fee, no lunch included)
