What to expect
Roman Temple of Évora
Évora is the only Portuguese city that is a member of the Network of the Oldest European Cities. The historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with incredible monuments such as the Temple of Diana, the Cathedral of Évora, one of the most important medieval cathedrals, in Gothic style, and the unforgettable and unique Chapel of the Bones. The wine tasting will be in one of the wineries we will suggest to you, for example Esporão or Herdade do Freixo, depending on when it will be your tour. Our tour ends in Monsaraz, a medieval village perched on a hill overlooking the Guadiana River and the border with Spain. This museum village is surrounded by a picturesque wall and consists of alleys lined with gleaming white houses. In 2017, it won the Monumental Villages competition of the 7 Wonders of Portugal! A place not to be missed!
