    My husband and I had a great time cooking and getting to see how a real, traditional meal is made from our wonderful guide. He speaks very little English, but we are foreigners here and just glad to have learned something new from a very gracious host and his family. Beautiful home, very cozy kitchen, and the presentation was very nice. He speaks French, Arabic (obviously), and Spanish, by the way, for anyone else who is also interested, but even with the language barrier it was a pleasant experience. We had a tasty salad, chicken tajine, so many different fresh veggies, and an absolutely delicious fruit salad and traditional tea. Very grateful for the experience. We were also happy that he helped us find our way back to the hotel! It’s a maze getting around.

    We were privileged to be taken here by our guide as part of our Chefchaouen experience. We were welcomed into a lovely traditional home by our host, Said. A generous meal of rice salad, vegetable tagine, chicken tagine, and fresh bread was followed by fresh fruit salad, morroccon tea and pastries. What a treat! Thank you for your hospitality !
