Visiting Machu Picchu was absolutely incredible. The journey up was an adventure in itself, but standing among the ancient ruins with the Andes all around was surreal. The craftsmanship and history are mind-blowing, and the views are next-level gorgeous. It’s a bit of a hike, but totally worth it. Seeing the sunrise over the site was one of the most unforgettable moments of my life.

It was an excursion with Lima tours. It lasted about 3 hours and we did circuit 2. While it is true that they tell you that you can not carry plastic bottles, walking sticks and other objects, people carried what they wanted. The route is more or less simple but it is very crowded and you can take pictures in turns and fast.

Incredible place for the landscape, for history, for the level of preservation of the place. Obviously it is a tour that earns a lot with the presence of a guide. There are different routes within the archaeological site, the routes 1 and 2 being the most complete and, consequently, the ones that run out first, so buy the tickets well in advance to get a place. To take the bus ride in Aguas Calientes, but everything is well identified, there is no way to go wrong. If you want to climb the neighboring hills of Machu Picchu (Huchuy Picchu or Huayna Picchu), run after the tickets, pq quickly run out tb. Our tour company forgot to book our and what we went to try to buy, it was already! The only certainty is q is a must-see place!
