    We had the best time kayaking to La Boufadora! It was the highlight of our trip. Our driver was waiting for us and was easy to find. He was friendly and had a clean, comfortable vehicle. The kayak guide was super fun and made sure we knew exactly what we were doing. He let us take as much time as we wanted and took lots of pictures for us.

    Let me start by saying that I do not like kayaking. Put me on a calm lake in a kayak and I'm miserable. Throw me in a kayak on the ocean fighting the waves and I'm questioning my life choices. Having said that, this excursion is a must!! We've been to Ensenada multiple times and have seen La Bufadora from the standard viewing angle above the blow hole. That's nice, but you have not seen La Bufadora until you've seen it from the water in a kayak. It's a completely different experience and so much better than just seeing it from above. Ensenada Excursions and Tours is the way to experience this as well. We came in on a cruise ship where this was offered on the boat. We were so pleased that we didn't go that route. We saw the bus they rode in on as well as the huge group of people trying to get a view while on their kayaks. For us, there was only the 4 of us in our family and our 2 guides. They got us very close to the blow hole (ocean was very calm allowing us to get closer than most). It was amazing! Our guides were awesome and made the kayaking part very easy. Helping us get in and out of the kayaks as well as directing us so we avoided any major waves. Highly recommend this tour!

    Our experience on this excursion was amazing! We were met right outside the cruise port, the transportation was very professional and the drive was so beautiful. Our guides were so patient with our large group, mostly kids ages 8-13. The paddles was not overly difficult and they made us feel safe the whole time. La Bufadora was stunning and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique experience!

    We have been to Ensenada before as a couple on a cruise and it was OK. We found ourselves going back taking my whole family and trying to figure out something that would accommodate all 8 of us we decided to Kayak La Bufadora. The cruise line offered a package to do it, but doing an excursion through the cruise line before I wasn't sure I wanted to be part of the cattle drive. So I happened on this company and gave it a shot. They were very communitive by e-mail leading up to the cruise so I had clarity on what to expect and where to meet them. When we got off the cruise, we walked right to the meeting destination with no problem and it was very clear where to go. Then to make things much easier, our wonderful driver was standing right there with a large sign welcoming us with my name on it. So I knew we were in the right place. After that we all piled in to a van and started our drive to the launch site for our kayaks. It is a long drive, but the driver made it very nice in that he was like a tour guide explaining the different sites and customs along the way. We loved that. When we got to the area for the blow hole, be advised, bathrooms are a challenge and you will need to pay to use what they have. We were then greeted by another person that took us for short walk down the hill to where they launch. Again, very nice and talked about the area and his history there. We then met our two guides who were not only accommodating, but very patient. We never felt rushed or worried we wouldn't make it back to the ship on time. One of the guides took the time to individually guide us closer to the blow hole so we could get a safe view from close up. It was spectacular that way because you could feel the power of the gushing water getting that close. Again, he was very knowledgeable and knew where to keep us to keep it safe. On the drive back we asked about the authentic street tacos. Of course we ended up buying a whole lunch because we were starving, but that was even great where the driver (same person that we were with to start with) took us to a clean place close to the ship where the service and food were awesome. I would recommend this company to guide you any day.

You will be fitted with life jacket and safety gear with access to a dry bag to store your valuables in the kayak. The guide will offer kayaking and safety instructions, and then put in the water for 90 min paddle passing small islets to the Geyser, with epic fotos along the way. At the midpoint, you approach the famous La Bufadora and may pose for picture. Your private guide will stay with you the entire time. Ocean conditions vary and some rolling waves are common with more waves later in the day. On return trip, you can request a 30 minute stop for tacos or souvenir shopping.
