A Stroll Through Binissalem: Mallorca’s Wine Village: On our wine tour, we’ll take a delightful walk through the historic village of Binissalem, famously known as Mallorca’s "wine village." As the heart of the Binissalem wine region, this charming town offers more than just vineyards. Our stroll will lead us past the elegant Town Hall and the impressive Church of Santa Maria de Robines, where you’ll learn about the village’s rich history and deep-rooted connection to winemaking. We’ll also admire the beautiful nobility houses, with their grand façades that reflect the wealth and prestige brought by the wine trade. It’s a perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the cultural heritage of this scenic village while discovering its lasting bond with wine production.

Next, we will visit one of the island's leading wine producers, where you'll enjoy a tasting of various wines paired with traditional Mallorcan snacks. The staff will guide you through the differences between the wines, introduce you to the local grape varieties unique to the island, and offer tastings of both white and red wines. You will be able to taste 5 different wines, and then you will have time to do shopping if you are interested.

A Hidden Gem: Discovering the Village of Biniagual: After our visit to Binissalem, we’ll head to the quaint village of Biniagual, nestled in the heart of Mallorca’s wine region. This picturesque hamlet, with its peaceful atmosphere and stunning beauty, is a hidden gem that few visitors know about. As we stroll through its charming streets, you’ll be captivated by the village’s timeless serenity. Biniagual also boasts its own local wine cellar, offering a glimpse into the area’s winemaking traditions. We’ll have time to take photos, soak in the tranquility, and learn about the fascinating history of this secluded village, making it a truly special stop on our wine tour.

Discover the Casa Museo Llorenç Villalonga in Binissalem:ç As part of our tour, we’ll visit the Casa Museo Llorenç Villalonga, the former home of one of Mallorca’s most celebrated writers. Located in the heart of Binissalem, this beautifully preserved house offers a fascinating glimpse into the life and work of Llorenç Villalonga, known for his literary contributions to Spanish and Catalan literature. The museum showcases personal artifacts, manuscripts, and memorabilia from the author, offering insight into the cultural and intellectual history of the region. Please not that tours starting after 12:30 wont have time to visit it.

Visit to Vins Can Novell: A Traditional Village Wine Cellar Our tour will also take us to Vins Can Novell, a historic wine cellar in Binissalem known for its tradition of selling wine by the liter. This charming cellar offers a unique glimpse into the past, preserving the old village tradition of bulk wine sales straight from large oak barrels. As we explore the cellar, you’ll learn about its history and the importance of this practice in Mallorcan wine culture. We’ll have the chance to taste a few samples, and for those who wish, we can purchase a bottle to share and enjoy together. It’s a wonderful way to experience authentic village winemaking firsthand! Relax in the Heart of Binissalem We’ll take a break at Binissalem’s main square, where you can relax at one of the local cafés with a glass of wine and watch the world go by. From your seat, you'll have a perfect view of the magnificent Church of Santa Maria de Robines, an architectural gem that dominates the square. As you unwind, you can also admire the sculptures dedicated to the village's famous wine fair, held every September to celebrate its deep winemaking traditions. Our guide will share interesting facts about the history of the wine fair and the village, adding fascinating insights to your leisurely moment in this charming setting.
