After breakfast, drive to Munnar (4h30), the beautiful hill station of Kerala. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Spend the remaining day at your leisure and enjoy the picturesque scenery. Visit aromatic tea plantations or indulge in thrilling sports activities like paragliding. The night takes place at the hotel.

One of the major attractions near Munnar is the Eravikulam National Park. This park is famous for its endangered inhabitant - the Nilgiri Tahr. Spread over an area of 97 km², this park is also home to several species of rare butterflies, animals and birds. An ideal place for trekking, the park offers a magnificent view of tea plantations caressed by blankets of mist. The park becomes a hot destination when the slopes of the hill are covered with a blue carpet, resulting from the flowering of the Neelakurinji. It is an endemic plant of this part of the Western Ghats which blooms once every twelve years.

Located inside the Eravikulam National Park is Anamudi Peak. It is the highest peak in South India, at a height of over 2700m. Hikes to the summit are permitted with permission from the forestry and wildlife authorities at Eravikulam

After breakfast, full day sightseeing in and around Munnar. Enjoy panoramic views of Anamudi, South India's highest peak at 2695m, visible from Munnar. Visit Christ Church and continue with wildlife viewing at Eravikulam National Park (16 km)

Another top attraction for visitors, located about 13 km from the town of Munnar, is Mattupetty. Situated at a height of 1700m above sea level, Mattupetty is known for its masonry storage dam and the beautiful lake, which offers pleasant boat rides, allowing one to enjoy the surrounding hills and landscape. Mattupetty's fame is also attributed to the dairy farm run by the Indo-Swiss Livestock Project, where one can encounter different breeds of high-yielding cows.

Pallivasal, located about 3 km from Chithirapuram in Munnar is the location of the first hydroelectric project in Kerala. It is a place of immense scenic beauty and is often favored by visitors as a picnic spot.

This tea museum houses artifacts, photographs and machinery; all of whom have a story to tell about the origins and growth of tea plantations in Munnar. The museum is located at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea in Munnar and is worth a visit.

After breakfast, depart for Periyar in the morning (4 hours) and transfer to hotel upon arrival. You can opt for Periyar and witness the fascinating activities of the tribes who collect honey from the dangerous hill bees. Evening transfer to the hotel.
