Your Itinerary
Glenkinchie Distillery
Travel a short distance East from Edinburgh to Glenkinchie Distillery, which dates back to 1825 and is home to a selection of exquisite single malts from Bourbon American Oak barrels.
Glenkinchie proudly serves as one of the Four Corners of Scotland distilleries of Johnnie Walker. They distil the Edinburgh Malt that is enjoyed around the world on its own and as a vital component of Johnnie Walker whiskies.
Discover the generous spirit of there garden home where they create their rare Lowland style whisky, evoking fragrant flowers, dried cut grass, and nutty cereal. You can also visit there bar for cocktails, drams, coffees and sharing platters.
Tastings and tours can be booked separately at prices starting from £19 per person.
Tullibardine Distillery
Travel North across the Queensferry crossing where you can enjoy a view of the Historic UNESCO World Heritage Forth Railway Bridge, which dates back to 1890.
Thereafter, on towards Tullibardine Distillery which dates back to 1949 although history tells us that this very site was that of a Brewery back in the 15th Century, enjoying Royal Charter from the then King James IV of Scotland.
The water comes from the surrounding Ochil Hills, drawn from the Danny Burn formed here over 400 million years ago with layers of Basalt and Red Sandstone, these hills are well known for the gold that was once mined from them. The clear water that runs through them took 15 yrs to reach the Danny Burn. In 1979 Highland Spring started using the same water.
Tours and Tasting are available at a price ranging from £12 per person.
Glengoyne Distillery
Glengoyne Whisky Distillery which was founded in 1833, sits at the foot of Campsie Hills near Loch Lomond.
Whether you are a seasoned whisky connoisseur or a curious traveller seeking an authentic Scottish experience, Glengoyne Distillery promises a truly memorable adventure.
Perhaps become your very own Malt Master. Glengoyne’s Malt Master experience includes an incredibly in-depth tour of the distillery with Glengoyne’s experienced distillery ambassadors. Then it gets extra special – you create your very own single malt in the Sample Room. You cannot do this anywhere else in Scotland.
