In 1921 this boulevard was built, which at that time was the backbone of the city and which promoted development. Most of the standing houses were built under the American and Victorian British bungalow trend.
Opening in 1938 and one of the 3 soccer stadiums in this city, it is popularly known as La Bombonerita. It has a capacity of 18,000 spectators. The name of the stadium is due to the fact that it is located on Bulevar Morazán. Before it was only called Morazán in honor of the first team that played on the court where it was built In front of the stadium, is the World Cup Square, which pays tribute to the World Cup qualifications in Spain 1982, South Africa 2010, and Brazil 2014.

Parque Central Luis Alonso Baraona
It served as a resting place for the troops that fought during the internal wars and in its kiosk some priests were forced to officiate mass while the current cathedral was being built. The kiosk is the only architectural element that the park has conserved since it was built in 1901.
Founded in 1936, its building is in a Latin cross, with vaults that support a central dome, which is surrounded by paintings of the apostles. The façade is complemented by two bell towers on both sides, the main door facing west and two more doors facing both north and south, for access to the Catholic parishioners, the main altar is embedded with its respective altarpiece in one of the edges. Large windows with Christian figures rise above the main walls of the nave in a cross, giving an enhancement and allowing the light to pass into the cathedral.
