It was a private tour, so we were able to relax and enjoy a wonderful experience. It wasn’t easy to find an English-guided tour, so we were really grateful for this. Before the tour, we could communicate with the guide about what we wanted to see by texts. And the guide to take us to less touristy areas — and we truly appreciated that. During snorkeling, the guide was very attentive to how tired we were and checked in with us, which made me feel safe and comfortable even as a beginner. And we were absolutely thrilled to see a sea snake — something we really wanted to see! I got a minor scrape from the coral reef, but the guide stayed calm and clearly explained how to take care of it. The waterfall we visited afterwards was small and peaceful — just the right size after a satisfying snorkeling session. At the juice store we stopped by, the local vendor shared stories with us, which added a nice personal thing to the day. The photos taken during snorkeling were beautiful, and since the guide handled the camera, we could focus fully on enjoying the underwater experience. If I may make one small suggestion, it would be great to be asked beforehand what kind of photos or videos we’d like. For example, it would have been nice if a video that shows beautiful fish under water also shows us floating in the ocean. And some of the pictures had different aspect ratios (I edited them later by myself), and the video data showed the date they were edited, not the actual date and time they were taken — so when I downloaded them to my phone, the order wasn’t right. It would’ve been even better if that was consistent. But overall, it was truly an unforgettable experience with a friendly guide. Wata’s 4-hour snorkeling tour was absolutely amazing. He took us to a hidden beach that most other tours don’t even know about. The coral was thriving, and we were lucky enough to swim with sea turtles—it was such an unforgettable experience. After snorkeling, we cooled off at a waterfall that only the locals know, which was super refreshing. To wrap things up, we had fresh pineapple juice from Ishigaki Island—it hit the spot after all that swimming. Wata is also a professional photographer, so he sent us the photos he took by the Gopro during the tour afterward. The shots were incredible and made the perfect keepsake from our trip.

Scuba diving tour This is a private tour which is always preferable than going in larger groups. We got picked up at the hotel and went to the snorkeling spot which was a very quiet and nice place where only a few other people were. All equipment needed was included and worked fine. (Just keep in mind if you have longer hair or a beard it’s rather difficult to keep the googles from leaking.) The safety was ok, you can use a life vest and rest on a board once out in the water. It would be good if we were told more about what things to watch out for, maybe pictures of animals and plants to avoid. It’s nice to not have to think about taking pictures yourself, only enjoy the experiment. The pictures we got were ok but maybe it’s good to tell what kind of scenes you want, both on land and in the water. Then we went to a waterfall for a short bath which was rather crowded at the time. After that a trip to a juice bar for a very nice drink and then we went back to our hotel. Length of the trip is good, the spots visited are great and over all we enjoyed the afternoon.

My friend and I went on the private snorkelling tour and had the best time! I was so amazed that there was beautiful coral and a reef so close to the shore! We learnt to snorkel through the caves and channels between the reefs which was such a fun experience and something I’d never done before! Our guide was helpful with advice on how to do it safely and took us to easier spots to begin with to get our confidence up! After snorkelling we went to a lovely waterfall to cool off and finished with a pineapple juice! We also got all the GoPro footage of our snorkelling which was a great memory of the day!!

We had an amazing time snorkelling. The beach we went to was so quiet and the water was so clear and the coral and underwater caves were really cool! We got some really cool photos and videos - would definitely recommend!
