I have traveled to various countries and used private drivers each time, but I have rarely encountered such a wonderful driver.
You had carefully reviewed the schedule we shared beforehand and had a clear understanding of our plans.
Not only did they provide airport transfers late at night, but they also flexibly suggested "you can stop by places like this" to make our trip even better. Sometimes, even though your own schedule became early in the morning and it was difficult, you thought of a plan for us, and I was truly touched by your thoughtfulness.
Rather than just a driver we asked to move us, they were someone who helped create the journey so that our trip would be the best memory.
This is a driver I can wholeheartedly recommend!
If we have another chance to visit Sri Lanka, we definitely want to ask Nisal.

Gayan made our 10 days in Srilanka so much easier with his proactive professional attitude and his suggestions to our itinerary from his vast experience.
He was always ready and available whenever we needed, flexible if we changed our minds, and gave us great recommendations of activities and restaurants wherever we were, and always had some local contacts to help.
He sorted out our tickets to the Safari and other sites, and nothing was too much trouble for him.
The car itself was always clean, and spacious enough for our needs, and his driving was always safe and smooth.

Our driver, Hemantha, was outstanding from start to finish. He was punctual every single day, drove safely and confidently on Sri Lanka's often challenging roads, and was always attentive to our needs as a family travelling with two young children (ages 7 and 10). He gave great local tips along the way, was flexible with our schedule, and never pushed us toward unnecessary shopping stops or commission-based detours — something we really appreciated and don't take for granted.
The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained for the entire journey. Communication with the office (thank you, Nisal!) was smooth and responsive whenever we had questions.
We'd happily recommend Sri Lanka Drive Safe, and Hemantha in particular, to anyone planning a family trip around the island. Thank you for making our holiday so relaxed and memorable!
