My sister and I spent half a day touring with Mariana while visiting Rio. The tour was arranged through a third party travel agency in Australia. We both enjoyed discovering the Santa Teresa area with her. Very knowledgeable, friendly and tailored the tour somewhat to suit our needs. I enjoyed tasting the açai and riding on the tram. She dropped us off at Ipanema Beach as we had requested and recommended a lovely restaurant opposite the beach to enjoy lunch. Highly recommend!

Mariana, she's simply the best! She was so accommodating, friendly, knowledgable, and sweet. She simply just gave the best introduction to Rio. It seems like she knows everyone in Rio too. She was also sweet enough to able to get tough to get tickets for a Flamengo game, and she also joined us. I don't think there's a bigger Flamengo fan in the world. She's a great ambassador for Brazil, Rio, and Flamengo. Do yourself a favor and just take the tour with her, I guarantee you will have a great time because Mari is the best, hands down!

Mariana is a wonderful person and a superb guide. She is very good with making sure her guest’s needs are all catered for. We spent two different days with her and she made sure we not only saw the important sights, but also the lesser known areas that gives you a whole new perspective of this amazing city.
