Golan Heights
During our tour we will drive a significant distance on the Golan Heights. We'll stop at the Druzze village of Mas'ade to taste the local cuisine. Optional: Meeting with the a Druze social leader and dine in a local home.
Saar Falls
Enjoy the beautiful waterfalls. The are two levels of waterfall which are located in a short walk from the road (about 3 min walk). The falls are extremely beautiful in the winter time when large volumes of water are flowing down from Mt. Hermon foothill.
Our next point is Mt. Bental, where while standing on the top of a dormant volcano, we will visit an abandon IDF bunker and look towards Syria. That is the place where we will discuss the present geopolitical developments across the border.
We will finish our day at the ancient synagogue Umm el-Kanatir, a unique example of a completely restored building, which was a spiritual home of a prosperous Jewish community that vanished in the 8 century CE.
If time permits, we will visit a view point which overlooks the scenery of the Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinneret).
