    Irene was wonderful! She took us to 4 high end chocolatiers, one macaron store, and one hot chocolate shop, with multiple tastings! She talked about the history of chocolate and the individual chocolatiers (so much we didn't know about how high end chocolate is so recent). She's also written a book about chocolate (in French only). We bought some chocolates along the way - then went back and picked up some more after all our tastings! Well worth it!

    Learned about chocolate and the best makers of chocolate in France. Enjoyed the variety of chocolates including those with surprise ingredients. Perfect length tour.

    The Pure Chocolate Tour with Irène was amazing. We did not know the chocolate industry in France is equally respected internationally as the wine industry. We learned the history of chocolate in France and Paris, the innovations that have occurred, and the up and coming names of a new generation of chocolatiers. We sampled a wide variety of chocolates - from dark chocolates and milk chocolates, in raspberry flavor and curry flavor and many more. We learned the difference between a ganache and a praline. And the tour ended with hot chocolate at Angelina, across from the Jardins des Tuileries. Thank you, Irène! We would do this tour again!

    Thank you, Irene, for such a fantastic experience! We cannot recommend this chocolate tour highly enough! My husband and son are both obsessed with chocolate and both were wowed by the quality (and quantity!) or chocolate that we tasted and my husband really enjoyed talking to Irene about chocolate and desserts in general. She is so knowledgeable! We’ve already recommended her tour to friends and will continue to do so!

    A must do chocolate and pastry tour !! We will meet in the heart of the world famous Marais and taste amazing chocolates in the oldest chocolatier of Paris, then we will taste the best cream puffs and the best macarons in Paris. Then we will go to three other outstanding shops for the best chocolates in Paris and a specialty to die for, meringue with whipped cream and chocolate. We will follow some nice and lively streets (the visit of perfume shops in an option). Finally we will reach the gorgeous Place des Vosges. There, we will taste the best croissant of Paris in an amazing shop created by two Italian brothers.

Then we will go to three other outstanding shops for the best chocolates in Paris and a specialty of Provence called a calisson. We will follow some nice and lively streets and walk in the direction of the Ile Saint-Louis with a view of the Pantheon. Then we will reach the Place des Vosges which was the place of residence of the Parisian nobility since the XVIIth century. There, we will taste the best croissant in Paris and drink a coffee or a beverage in an amazing shop created by two Italian brothers.
