Our guide was very informative and kayaking on ocean incredibly beautiful as was the beach we were able to go to swim at. They provided a delicious snack as well as a very amazing and generous lunch. All the iguana staff were helpful.

My son and I went on a kayak tour with Raul as our guide. He was a wonderful guide---gave us interesting information about the area, was helpful and attentive while also giving us some space. His English is great and he helped us when we tried to speak Spanish. It was perfect.

Excellent decision to do the ocean canoe tour with snorkeling has been a great experience but Raul and Warnee have made it more amazing, it has been a pleasure, we have learned, seen fish, an amazing beach and we have had a lot of fun, plus if you fit the fruit on the beach and the food have been great, you have not missed anything. We love to kayak and snorkel and have been on guided trips before. The views on this adventure were lovely and we saw many fish. The beach was beautiful and the meal at the end was delicious. Our guide was friendly. There are a few things that could have been curated better. Going out to eat in wet clothes when we were all cold wasn’t very comfortable. It would have been helpful if the company told us ahead of time to bring dry clothes to leave in the van. But they switched out vans along the way so that wouldn’t have even worked out. Also on trips with other companies the guide was in the water with us telling us what fish we were seeing which made it educational and interesting. But this is a fun adventure and great exercise.

What to expect

Our guide receives them, we prepare them with vests, paddles and a safety talk, and then paddle for 50 minutes to the Volcanic Rock where we do the snorkeling. Then we go to Playa Biezans for a snack, water, fresh fruit.
