    Lia was great and did the tour bilingually. Offer assistance with translation for souvenirs and made sure everyone was accounted for. The stops were all similar type bar in Lapa. We separated from the group before the last stop. The shots included were brought by here any other drinks needed to be paid for by us. Very different than previous crawls we have been on. Lia did make sure everyone was introduced to everyone. The vibe at Selina's Rooftop was the best!

    Our guide was awesome. We really felt like we had a local showing us all that Rio’s Lapa District has to offer. Better than the tours offered of Dirty Sixth in Austin and Bourbon Street in New Orleans.

    This was a weird experience and a waste of money and energy. We spent an hour at a loud hostel just kind of waiting for the tour to begin. Then we were called downstairs to drink cheap cachaca and play “never have I ever” to break the ice. Then the very sweet guide took us to a good, but empty samba club. This was a good experience but focused more on music/dancing than mingling. Shortly after we followed the guide to another empty club with a very weird vibe and a prostitute and pimp that hit on one of our group members. Before this began our guide left to buy snacks. She was gone for too long we felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave. Group moral and unity was out the window, people started splitting up and going to other clubs and bars they preferred/were drawn to. I signed up to meet people and be social and everyone split up. I could have saved the money and gone to Lapa alone. The bars and clubs chosen were terrible, empty- compared to others. I don’t understand why the cost is so high when all the clubs we entered were free and no drinks were included except the cheap cachaca we drank as a pre game.

    It was amazing! We had a smaller group but it was still an enjoyable time. Learning to samba by the group leader was definitely the highlight of the night!

    Marcos was a legend!! The group we were in was super fun! The bars we went to were epic, awesome Brazilian music!! All round awesome!!!
