Anchorage
The approximately 127-mile (204-km) Anchorage to Seward route offers breathtaking views of the Turnagain Arm, Chugach State Park, and wildlife at the Alaska Conservation Center. Highlights include the Portage Glacier and, upon reaching Seward, the entrance to Kenai Fjords National Park.
Soldotna
The experience begins at Seward's head office. From there, you will travel to Lowell Point, the southernmost point accessible by road, where kayaks will be prepared and a safety talk will be given. Then you’ll paddle along the west coast of Resurrection Bay, surrounded by coastal rainforest and intertidal ecosystems, with opportunities to see sea otters, seals, bald eagles and porpoises. Halfway along the route, you’ll pause at a nearby beach to relax, explore tidal pools, and walk among Sitka’s spice forests. After the break, you will return to Lowell Point and then to the office in Seward. The crossing lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours in the water and offers a total immersion in Alaskan nature. Finally, you can explore the port and downtown Seward, visit the Alaska SeaLife Center or wander through Waterfront Park before continuing to Soldotna and enjoying the views of the Kenai Peninsula.
Fairbanks
