    We took this self-guided Tour around Roundhay Park. The weather was terrible - cold no more than 11C, and rainy all day, but the Tour by Sarah Benson was great! She was easy to listen to, the directions all came up as specified and on time, and her narrative was engaging and informative. We liked her Tour so much that we looked up on VoiceMap and found a second Tour in Leeds by Sarah: "Princes, Lions and Golden Owls". It was equally as engaging, and the directions all worked very well. A great feature of these Tours is that you can start and stop at will. Thus we had lunch (and warmed up!) in a cafe in Roundhay Park, and also had earlier enjoyed some hot drinks all while pausing the Tour. It was quite a long walk uphill from the Oakwood Clock bus stop to the main Roundhay car park where the Tour commenced, but the starting location was easily found from Sarah's clear description. The information suggested "Walking 75 minutes", but by the time we had some food breaks and took the time to enjoy the sights, we spent most of the day at Roundhay Park.

    This was such a wonderful self guided tour! It was a lovely way to stroll through Roundhay Park and learn some interesting and cute history. I loved the VoiceMap app that it used — it knows where you are, so you can walk at your own pace and the narrator will talk when you get to the key spots. So great!
