    What to expect

    Experience one of Florida's most exciting summer traditions on a guided scalloping adventure in the crystal-clear waters of Crystal River. After boarding your boat, you'll enjoy a scenic ride through the Crystal River Preserve as your captain takes you to some of the area's best scalloping locations. Once at the scalloping grounds, you'll spend approximately 3 hours in the water searching for bay scallops in the shallow seagrass beds. Your captain will provide guidance on where to look and tips for spotting scallops, making this experience enjoyable for both first-time and experienced scallopers. Snorkel, swim, and collect your own fresh scallops while taking in the beauty of Florida's Nature Coast. After your time in the water, relax aboard the boat during the return cruise back to the marina. The total experience includes approximately 3 hours on the boat (travel to and from the scalloping grounds) and 3 hours dedicated to scalloping, for an unforgettable day on the water.
