The monument is a memorial to the only dog, in South Africa, ever officially enlisted in the Royal Navy. Ranked 'Able Seaman', Just Nuisance performed his military, boosted the morale of all those involved in fighting the war from the South Atlantic Station and he was renowned for the love and care he showed for his sailor mates.
This small picturesque beach is located on the warm False Bay coastline. Its colorful Victorian-style bathing huts, tidal pools and rock pools offer eye-catching photographs. Explore this Bohemian style neighborhood with a collection of bars, cafés, restaurants, art galleries and fashion shops.
