Parco di Pinocchio
In the town of Pinocchio, the places linked to the most translated novel in the world, in the town to which the writer Carlo Lorenzini was linked and whose name, Collodi in fact, he chose as a pseudonym to sign his masterpiece and other writings. We visit the Historical Garden known by the writer, where a splendid Butterfly House was built, the Monumental Park which celebrates Pinocchio and his adventures. The Monumental Route is a work protected by the Fine Arts and created by some of the most important and famous artists and architects of the twentieth century: Greco, Zanuso, Porcinai, Consagra, Venturi ... In the area called Land of Toys there is the Museum of Interactive Games , the Giostre d'Epoca, Pinocchio's Mechanical Theater, Puppet shows and ludo-didactic workshops, Geppetto's games, two Adventure Paths, Giant Chessboard and Goose Game, the wagons of Fire Eaters and the Blue Fairy. The two sites - a few meters away from each other - host exhibitions.
