    Our tour last Monday was thankfully rescued by Pablo & Roberto,we booked the trip via 3rd party that messed up. We eventually got underway & Roberto is a very well informed knowledgable man. He pointed out various things-on the way to Slothland. We were lucky enough to see 3 Sloths & 2 different types of frogs. Had lunch there which was very nice. Then onto a chocolate making Place. The guide was great showed us the entire process & we got to taste the end product. Finally we planted a tree. Amazing day . Very impressed with the professionalism of R & P our guide & driver Thank you so much

    This was very disappointing, was not a trek through the jungle at all as advertised on Tui website, (we ended up paying again with different tour operator to experience a sloth adventure and now having difficulties trying to get refund), this is not a cheap experience costing around £111 pp. Pick up from hotel then driven to meeting point to await further passengers Started with a trip to a waterfall which you can swim in if you like Then onto the trek into the jungle looking for sloths and yes I know it’s wildlife and you can’t guarantee seeing anything but……we were introduced to the guide who was very nice but this is how it panned out, very short walk to be shown a green frog and about a 15-20min talk about frog, then another very short walk to look for a tiny red poisonous frog another 20 or so mins with the guide using his phone with frog calls on it and another talk on red frog….death by frog. Another very short walk to be told that there was a sloth high up in the tree, to be honest it could have been a stuffed animal (after going on the other tour I believe it probably could have been) we all got to look through telescope and guide took pictures, once the six of us had a look we were rushed away to lunch so so disappointing if you look at the pictures that advertise this experience you would be expecting to see a lot more and spend quality time. THIS WAS THE REASON WE DID THIS EXPERIENCE AND WERE LEFT SORELY DISAPPOINTED PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS We then went onto a coffee and chocolate tasting which was very informative and finally we did go into the rainforest and planted a tree which was a great thing to do. You can find better sloth tours outside of Tui and Destination services who Tui use, I believe this tour was at El Saboir de Dona Carmen Sloth land but not 100 percent. I’ve given 2stars one for the coffee and chocolate and one for the tree planted. Nothing for the sloth tour

    This was booked via TUI rep as part of Destination Services at Planet Hollywood Hotel, sold as a Sloth Adventure. This was not by any means as advertised with TUI a trek through the jungle to see sloths, we spent 30 minutes being talked about a frog we could hardly see, then when we saw a single sloths, by telescope, we were the ushered away for lunch. We walked no more than 200 yards, hardly a trek. We have seen more wildlife at our resort. When we got back, another couple on another sloth tour showed us their photos, amazing, sloths, snakes, frogs, and so much more of an experience. We have complained to both TUI Rep (Destination Services), TUI UK, asking for a full refund as this excursion was not as described, and we have had to book this tour again with another operator. We accept you are guaranteed seeing wildlife, but when you only walk 200 yards, I guess you won't!! We are still waiting for our refund of around £200.00, back and forth with TUI UK and Destination Serbices, each saying they need authorisation from each other to issue refund, absolute joke. I've had a message from TUI to get local TUI to issue a refund, and I'm still waiting. Be warned about this tour.

    We left the hotel and took about one hour before we reached what our guide described as a garden, well it didn’t look a garden to me as it was like walking into the rainforest, very close to nature. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was pointing out all the fauna and flora we came across, also he was using a telescope, helping us spotting it better and take beautiful pictures. We were a bit skeptical about spotting a sloth as they’re quite difficult to see but after a couple of minutes we saw the first one and few minutes later we had a closer encounter. All in all was amazing and I would highly recommend it.

    No sloths. Felt like we were bird watching more than anything. Butterfly watching also. Saw a frog and that’s it
