    I was really looking forward to our ride, but can’t deny that I was a little apprehensive. As an unfit 62 yr old who hadn’t ridden a bike in 20+ years, I was worried I’d hold everyone else up. We started with a delicious breakfast at the Miners followed by a comprehensive lesson on riding the e-bike and then we were off and I didn’t stop smiling all day! We covered pretty country lanes, farm tracks and old railway lines on the tour while our guide, Andrew, made it all the more interesting with facts about the local area. We even included a stop at a lovely old pub for mulled wine. The e-bike was so easy to master and those big hills were a breeze, you just had to keep peddling at it did all the hard work for you - brilliant! I can’t quite believe I cycled 28 miles and held my own in the group. Just the best day.

    The entire process from initial inquiry to getting on the bike was seamless. I was fitted, checked for safety etc and then the ride itself was awesome. The bikes were clearly well maintained and although my first time on an eBIke there were no issue in getting used to it and it allowed us to ride so much deeper into the Dales. Having a tour leader and other experienced riders meant that I was provided a real education about the history, culture, geography etc. of the area. A great way to spend the day and I will be going again. Highly recommend......

    This was such a great experience. I had never ridden an e-bike before and just wanted to have a go and see something of the Derbyshire peaks. I was quite nervous at first as it is a bit different from riding a standard bike. My guide, Michael, was incredibly kind and patient, taking a lot of trouble to make sure I felt confident. The tour itself, about five hours, including a break for lunch, was full of interesting sights such as pretty villages, grand estates, evidence of ancient settlements, abandoned mines and spectacular views. Michael pointed out all sorts of things to look out for and had lots of knowledge of the history and industry of the area. We stopped for lunch at a perfect traditional pub, with a gorgeous log fire and excellent menu. I really couldn't fault the trip. Michael was able to answer all of my questions about e-bikes and I feel I know enough now to decide whether to buy one myself. I've also been banging on endlessly to anybody who'll listen about how great this tour is. I really would highly recommend it!

    Fun trip -- the equipment is excellent, Michael was great -- very friendly, relaxed, with great local knowledge. Highly recommended. You meet up at the hotel and then cruise at your own pace, stopping where you feel like -- nice cafes and restaurants along the way. It's a great way to see the countryside and some of the sights. The ebikes make the hilly terrain very manageable -- you can cover a lot of ground without exhausting yourself!

    Our first time on e-bikes, Andrew was really helpful, very safety aware, and provided everything we needed for a great day out. The bikes were very high quality, and instructions were on point. Look forward to doing this again.
