    Did a morning snowmobile tour with Marco. It was great, we had a private tour and lots of fun. Explained everything very good, I am a bigger person and he also everything for my size. Really recommend PolarMax! Great snowmobiles, and not a "big group" tour. Great!!

    What a fantastic trip from start to finish! We were picked up in town and driven a few km outside Rovaniemi where we met our small group for this trip - only three couples plus Marko our guide. It's his business, and he is clearly passionate about what he does. All the kit that we needed was provided, and was new and good quality. Goggles, boots, snow suits, gloves and helmets were tried for size and then it was outside into the beautiful cold clear air. After a brief overview of the snowmobile controls and a quick drive around the car park we were off into the forest. It was a wonderful trip across frozen lakes and wide open spaces and then back into the forest along some narrower tracks and tighter spaces, stopping to change drivers and take photos. Stunning, would highly recommend joining Marko on one of his trips!

    This tour was a remarkable experience from start to finish! Marko was an outstanding guide, ensuring everyone felt comfortable while still making it an exhilarating ride. The small group size made it even more enjoyable, allowing us to really push the snowmobiles and make the most of the awesome route. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with snow up to four feet deep in some areas, creating a true winter wonderland. Every moment was pure fun, from speeding through the trails to taking in the remote wilderness. Ending the adventure with a magical BBQ was the perfect touch. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an unforgettable winter thrill!

    We did the 3-hour morning snowmobile safari. My friend and I were lucky enough to have our own private ride with our very kind guide Marko. He took us on some very beautiful forest trails and incredible frozen lakes, at -18°C outside. Highly recommended.

    We had the most amazing time during our evening snowmobile ride. Our guides spoke great English and were extremely generous with equipment, very well prepared with suits, gloves, balaclavas, helmets, heated goggles, as well as heated seats and heated hand grips on snowmobile. The ride felt very safe, and the guide had great transparency with the weather conditions and plenty of checks on temperature and speed of snowmobile. Explored very deep into the surrounding area, through wide open spaces with great viewing opportunities for the Aurora and also through tall trees. Had so much fun learning how to ride a snowmobile, great for first timers, easy to follow and a once in a lifetime experience! Definitely recommend.

    Our most popular tour — and the one we'd send a friend on if they were visiting Lapland for the first time. • Small group — usually 4 to 5 snowmobiles, never a convoy • Ride from our base in Sinettä, 20 minutes north of Rovaniemi, away from the busy tourist trails • Real Lapland terrain: frozen river, forest paths, open hills • Beginner-friendly — your guide coaches you from the start • BRP Lynx snowmobiles, built locally in Rovaniemi • Children welcome in the covered sledge, partners can switch drivers on a double snowmobile • All photos and videos shared with you afterwards We start from our base in Sinettä, 20 minutes north of Rovaniemi. After a warm welcome, a full briefing and hands-on practice on the snowmobile, we head out. We start slow, make sure everyone feels comfortable, and build pace as the group settles in. The route takes you across the Ounasjoki river and through forest trails winding between snow-loaded spruce — then up to our private hill, where the view opens up across 40 kilometres of Lapland wilderness. No roads, no other groups — just us and the wilderness. The kind of stillness that's hard to find anywhere else.
