What to expect

Join an afternoon experience in search of dolphins, whales and other marine wildlife close to sunset time. Having a beautiful sky as the background for a dolphin & whale watching experience results in magical moments. Participants will have a briefing on board regarding the activity and its rules while cruising through Ria Formosa Natural Park. As soon as we hit the ocean our team of Marine Biologists will be focused on finding dolphins, whales and other marine life. The most sighted species during this dolphin trip are the Common Dolphins, Bottlenose Dolphins and Striped Dolphins as well as sharks and marine birds . In late winter and spring we also spot bigger cetaceans such as the Fin whales and Minke whales, during our sunset dolphin watching tours. In this activity, the biologists will be gathering valuable scientific data for research while providing an educative approach to the participants.
