    Our favorite excursion in Slovenia was canyoning in Fratarica canyon. We had a blast and highly recommend Canyoning Challenge Slovenia. Matej and his team were excellent guides, safe and experienced. Matej’s knowledge of the canyons was extensive and invaluable. With his advice and direction, we felt comfortable stepping (or jumping/sliding!) outside of our comfort zone for a truly memorable experience.

    We booked a CANYONING tour in Fratarica and had great fun! We had a small group size and our tour guide Matej always made sure of our safety and that we had a good time :) The area and canyon were beautiful! The equipment was nice and kept us warm at all times. Additionally we got a shuttle from the base in Bovec to the canyon and back. It was definitely worth it! Thank you Matej, for such a nice experience!

    Our canyoning guide, Matej, was so accommodating, kind, and friendly. Our group did the beginner canyon in the Susec River. The hike up to the top was about 40 min and it was strenuous for a couple of people in our group (65 yrs old). However, Matej took his time, assisted those that needed it, and we never felt rushed. He provided wetsuits, booties, helmets, and harnesses. The canyoning was great fun and we felt safe at all times. We highly recommend canyoning with Matej at Canyoning Challenge in Bovec, Slovenia.

    Canyoning in Bovec with Matej was the best time we had in Slovenia. I say that as someone who didn't know what canyoning meant before going + I'm afraid of heights. It was basically a private trip with a cool guy who knows what he's doing (not one of those big canyoning companies in Bovec), and tailors the experience just for you. One of us kept doing jumps or modified rappelling, one of us (me) needed extra encouragement. He showed us all the big waterfalls on the hike up (and still left a bunch of surprises for the way down), had totally new gear for us, great stories and sense of humor too. Had the best possible time canyoning in Bovec, Balkan style.
