We had a lovely night out with our guide, Verónica! The milonga she took us to was very well attended. It was fun to see the locals enjoying their Friday night dance. Neither of us are tango dancers so our lesson was very rudimentary but still a treat to experience a touch of this cultural tradition.

The milonga tour with Melina & Francesco was amazing. We really enjoyed it. Even if you cannot dance or only a little bit , you are welcome. Melina told us very interesting things about Tango and the music. Everyone should have this tour to get to know the real local Tango

This is no joke you are with locals young and old the night we were there mostly old. Tango is like a lifestyle in BA people love it and dance it. Our Guide Christen was great he showed how to do it and explained the history of tango on the way over. Great experience and highly recommend!

Our hostess, Melina, was very amicable, attentive, and was a joy to hang out with. She notify us when she was arriving to greet us and was on time. Afterwards, we took a ride to the milonga where we were introduced to the local tango. My partner and I took basic lessons then practice on the dance floor together. We took breaks to watch the locals dance tango. Melina also spoke of the history of tango and how it has evolved to what the tango is today. She is a wonderful hostess and would recommend her.

What to expect
Your guide — a professional tango dancer who has dedicated their life to this art and brings that genuine passion to every tour — picks you up at your hotel and takes you to a real milonga: the kind of place porteños (Buenos Aires locals) actually go to dance. First, a shared tango lesson. You'll learn the embrace, the walk, and the basic steps. Then the milonga opens — and so does the conversation. Your guide will share their story, how they found tango, what it means to them, what's happening on the floor right now. That one-on-one time with a true tanguero is something our guests talk about long after the night ends. Dancing is entirely optional. If you'd like to try the floor, your guide will show you exactly how. If you prefer to watch — that's a wonderful way to spend the evening too. 10 years. A collective of professional Buenos Aires tango dancers. More than 10,000 guests. Zero stage shows.
