This hike should be rated hard! Overall it was an estimated 9 miles. The first half is uphill and extremely steep bearing the lagoon. There were a lot of roots, mud, and loose rocks. Before beginning the hike our guide gave us a bottle of water, sandwich, desert, and souvenir mug for lunch and tea at the glacier. Make sure you bring a large enough backpack! It was very scenic and through many different landscapes. It was exhausting but definitely worth it! The guide stopped as needed for our group to rest and assisted with crossing the mud and small rivers. We went through sun, rain, and snow. Bring lots of layers! We were taking layers off and adding throughout the entire hike. At the glacier it was snowing.

Great hike to a glacier that is close to town with great views, when the weather cooperates of course. Saw a fox on the glacier.

Latitude ushuaia is very organized and pontual. I really liked trekking (vinciguerre and emerald) and the bus ride in the national park seemed good for the explanations of the guide and if you don't want to walk much... I was tired of the trip... However, afterwards he went there without excursion and was able to walk quietly and enjoy the park, which I recommend if you have time.
Trekking trails are amazing and include valleys, forests and tumberas... Strategic stops in the different biomes would be interesting because the forest, for example, is as beautiful and different as the glaciers. Of course, it can’t be long because it is necessary to keep a rhythm but strategic stops would leave us with less anxiety to take photos. It was immediately in Perito Moreno and there the guides made stops at good places for photos on ice.
Ice caves are interesting.
The sandwich was good, with chicken and vegetables.

It was a different path than the usual recommended ones. When you get upstairs, you realize it’s worth it: spectacular views of the lagoon, glacier and canal.
Hiking really helped, because we were going to the beat of the group. Mind you, heed the shoe and clothing recommendations.
