I got a suggest by a cousin to do a hike in the forest, so in my last day available my fiance booked as a surprise for me, got the proper clothing and we woke up very early it was amazing how on time was Olinto when he picked us up, we went to get a nice arepas breakfast and the arrived to a house, where we met Alejandro, they took us to the forest and I was amazed how experimented they are, very aware of the sorroundings, giving xplanations for everything was going on around, a very long walk that didnt feel that long due the interesting things u were seeing around, never felt more secure between spiders and bugs, lunch was incredible, get the whole fish and eat it patiently but worth it for sure, and please keep our world clean and sustainable, we have only one, lets take care of it

Absolutely loved it. Olinto is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide.
The trail itself is beautiful, not too long, and you really step into a piece of jungle with all sorts of wildlife. From howler monkeys, to (yes...) big spiders, snakes and birds. No worries though - as Olinto will take good care for you.
This was one of the highlights of our trip!
Also Olinto's aftercare was fantastic. We loved receiving pics of the hike to treasure later.

My husband and I were so excited for this hike! We ended up having to cancel because I recently found out I am deathly allergic to some insect stings. Unfortunately, this has limited how we enjoy nature. That said, Olinto was so kind when we informed him we wouldn’t be coming. You can tell he cares very much about what he does and the people he works with. I would 100x recommend this excursion so you can enjoy more than the beautiful islands and partying in the city. It definitely completes the trip!

My family and I went on The Howling Trail hike with Taroa Adventures, and it was actually one of the highlights of our trip to Colombia. We got to see a variety of monkeys, lizards, insects, plants, etc. Super fun and educational. Hearing the forest sounds, feeling the textures of trees, and seeing animals was an experience that will stick with us forever. Plus, the road trip there and back was a real bonus - visiting a local town and getting authentic, non-touristy meals. The person running Taroa Adventures, Olinto, is not only a great guide, but just overall a great guy. Thank you Olinto! Thank you for the great memories!

At 6:00 a.m. we drive out of Cartagena towards the Bolivar´s department, in this area, We hike to discover the flora, the fauna of this region. At 12:00 p.m. approx., we have a typical lunch from the area. At 1:00 p.m. approx. we leave the region. Approximate Driving Time: 2,0 hours. Approximate Hiking Time: 3,5 hours.
