    The tour guide, I believe her name was Barbara was wonderful. We had a problem when we got off the ship as we could not find the van-we actually walked right past him. He was inside the van, there was no ID on the van and he was not holding up a sign. It was not a good start to the day but was rescued by the outstanding tour guide.

    Maria was our spectacular guide. She made the city come alive for us. We saw the Byzantine Walls, Galerius Arch, The White Tower, The statue of Alexander the Great, The Church of Holy Demitrious, Vlatadon Monastery, a place of peace and home to several white peacocks (and Peahens). The city is huge, the second largest in Greece. This was a day well spent.
