What to expect

Our first stop is at Fort James, located in Plymouth, the biggest village on the Caribbean side. Here you learn about the history of Tobago and the famous “Mystery Tombstone” and the 17th century ruins. Here the inscriptions on the tombstone baffles all who reads it, and the stories behind it has become a great conversation starter. Enjoy a beautiful view overlooking three bays.  We continue our drive along the Caribbean side, stop at a 200 year old Silk Cotton Tree, then we drive until we reach the Mount Dillon Lookout with its stunning view overlooking Castara, a little sleepy fishing village as well as the untouched coastline. From there we drive downhill into the village of Castara were you have the opportunity to experience a typical fishing village. Our next stop is at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Englishman’s Bay, where the rainforest almost meets the green turquoise waters and the untouched bay. From there we head towards Parlatuvier, another magnificent bay. We can have a wonderful lunch at the famous “Jemma’s Seaview kitchen, a restaurant in Speyside built on the beach and around a tree.(not included in price). Enjoy great local food. Our last stop will be the “center of the North”, Charlottesville. There we will visit “Flagstaff Hill”, where you can enjoy one of the most stunning views Tobago has to offer. In the afternoon we drive along the Atlantic coast to Scarborough for our last stop at Fort King George. This is the best kept Fort of the island with a beautiful view of our capital Scarborough.
