The salt pans of Nubia preserve a millenary tradition in salt cultivation. The landscape, made even more suggestive by the presence of numerous windmills, offers a unique and fascinating scenery. There are no entrance fees to independently access the salt pans, but if you want to visit the Salt Museum and access the Salinaro Route, the ticket price is €4. The Salt Museum is a must, as it tells the history and techniques of salt production, offering a complete overview of this ancient activity.
